ARTHUR

Contrary to the popular myths, he did not "die in the end"... for the end has not yet been written. Camelot lives on in legend, and Arthur with it. The Kingdom is a magical place of dreams that will continue to rise and breathe with each beating of every dreamer's heart. It is a land that is meant to live forever, dwelling in the collective twinkle of all children's eyes.

Arthur knows this. Though he has somehow aged more quickly than others, he has been blessed with an equivalent wisdom. He knows that some higher power has entrusted him to watch over this mystical place and its people, to protect them and lead them. Merlin's teachings, supported by visions from Arthur's mother, Igrainne... have shown Arthur that Camelot must be defended at all costs, that Camelot must thrive. For should the kingdom die, then the land would die with it, along with destiny itself, and darkness would then rule.

Following much prayer and soul searching, as well as some intense tactical study of Camelot's situation, Arthur realized that he would need assistance in defending Camelot and returning the Kingdom to its deserved glory. He decided that he must put his own heart aside, and do what is right.

A strong Army needs a leader of skill and spirit, so Lancelot was sent for.

A healthy Kingdom needs the warm and guiding touch of a true Queen, so Guinevere was sent for. Through his love for Guinevere, Arthur has found the ability to forgive them both and turn his eyes and heart to the future. So now... may the story continue...
